Was there any doubt...really?
Who is your LOTR man? (long quiz, for girls, with pictures) created with QuizFarm.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You scored as Legolas Legolas is your LOTR man. He is a beautiful elf and fierce warrior. He is brave and loyal to his friends. Some would say he seems a bit of a pretty boy, but you know there is more to him than that. He would treat you well though you may have to battle hoards of simpering fangirls to get there.

Although...it's kinda scary how Frodo is third in line? *grins*

BLURB:Coming in September
from

Since his wife's murder, nigh a century ago, Elfin warrior Hanarom Avindaul's life has been an endless quest for peace...one he feels is becoming more impracticable each day. Still, he accepts a proposal of alliance with a band of men in a desperate attempt to decimate an evil clan known as dwellers, terrorizing both races. Not long after beginning his journey through the forest to join them, he comes to the aid of an obstinate, yet disarming maiden. He's been fighting for others for so long, he'd all but forgotten he had needs, until she enters his world. While, he quickly realizes this latest endeavor will be like no other set before him, never could he have foretold how deeply the pain he senses within her, would haunt and consume his immortal soul.
Kaiya Galbraith had always known her father, harbored no love for her. But, she never fathomed him capable of covertly bartering her life away to a stranger, in return for coin to pay off his debtors. Her dreams of love appeared lost forever, until she is rescued by a being she's only ever seen in her dreams. Kaiya finds herself reacting to this elf prince as if he uses magic on her. Strong magic that sends her heart aflutter at just a glance her way. Not only is he handsome beyond description, but when an evil clan ambushes their camp in the dead of night, he effortlessly plucks her from imminent death into the safe shelter of his arms...where she discovers she's all too eager to stay. When the flames of passion ignite between these forbidden lovers, will the bond they forge endure? Or will her procurer's horrendous plotting, and their insurmountable mortal differences prove too much for their magical love to withstand?

All I can say is, I'm glad Shia is 21! LOL!
This guy is smokin' hot, and he's an amazing actor - he reminds me of Tom Hanks, Russell Crowe, Keanu Reeves and Gavin Rosdale from that band, Bush. *winks*
Not only is he uber talented, he looks like a mighty fine kisser too...
LOL! You can find Mr. LaBeof in the video isle with "Disturbia" (Awesome flick, btw!), in the theater with "Transformers," or coming soon in Indiana Jones IV.

The Brother's are coming...
I am SO excited for the September 27th release of JR Ward's "Lover Unbound" I can hardly stand it! Vishous is my favorite brother, (right now anyway) and I can't wait to see him get his happily ever after.
So, to assuage my Brother addiction, I'm going to post pictures of how I visualize each character, starting with the Blind King himself, Wrath.

Still sweating...and not just because it's 100 degrees outside...
I'm happy to post that Sven is still crackin' his whip and keeping me sweating. So far, I've written almost 30,000 words, two synopsis and did revisions on a 300+ page manuscript. Woot!! {{Go Sven, go Sven, go, go, go Sven}} I think even after this is over, I'm going to keep him around - for purely inspirational purposes of course. *winks*
Oh, and it is really that hot here in hell...er, I mean Wisconsin. (Hey, even Kevin Smith considers it hell, people!) I tell ya, I am *so* a Cali girl. When it's this danged hot, I prefer the dry heat, and need to be by a pool or the ocean with a cold beer or blendie drink in my hand. LOL!
I hope everyone else is staying cool.

Sweating with Sven - Check in day
I've written 4580 since Sunday when I signed up. Not bad. I figure as long as I get 2,000 words a day, I won't complain. *grins*
Sunday's total's were dismal seeing how I wasn't home all day. I worked from 8am until noon, meet a friend for lunch at Panera in Madison, drove home like a maniac, making it to the co-ed league softball game in time to bat, drank a victory beer (we won 18-3), wrangled the kids from the park, went to a BBQ, came home at 9pm, showered and crashed because I have to be at work at 4:45am. Amazingly I wrote almost 500 words in the morning. But that's not 2,000 so I have to make up for that sometime this weekend.
My A-ha moment in this challenge so far? Well, for this week it's been remembering to tote around a notebook. I write long hand throughout the day, and type it in at night when I get a chance. (Yesterday I wrote on the floor next to my son while he played army guys. LOL!) It's more time consuming no doubt, but between work, the kids summer activities, etc. it's better than telling myself 'I don't have time to sit at the computer right now' and doing nothing at all.
So, how are all the other challengers doing? Is Sven whipping your wip into shape? ;-)

Because I LOVE to be challenged and held accountable...
I just joined Alison Kent's Seventy Days of Sweat Writing challenge!
The challenge starts today, 7/8 and runs through September 20th. You write 4-6 pages a day, everyday and report your progress to the blog listed above.
I believe there are prizes as well, (Critiques, RT subscriptions, RWA memberships, B&N Certificates, etc.) but for me the prize would be finishing this novel in just over a month and a half. :-)
Anyone interested, blog on over to her Blah Blog...
I'll be posting my progress here as well. Happy writing to those up for the challenge!!!

Go figure? LOL!
You Should Be a Romance Novelist |
You see the world as it should be, and this goes double for all matters of the heart. You can find the romance in any situation, and you would make a talented romance story writer... And while you may be a traditional romantic, you're just as likely to be drawn to quirky or dark love stories. As long as it deals with infatuation, heartbreak, and soulmates - you could write it. |
